Tristram Fane Saunders, 32, is a poet, editor and journalist from London.
He is the author of Before We Go Any Further, shortlisted for the 2024 Seamus Heaney Prize, and editor of the UK literary magazine The Little Review (pictured below).
Recent & forthcoming work: In 2026, Tristram’s poetry, fiction, non-fiction and criticism will appear in The TLS, The London Magazine, The Poetry Review, The Cambridge Review of Books, Oxford Poetry, PN Review and Free Bloody Birds, among other journals, as well as on BBC Radio 4.

Tristram has performed his poetry at Latitude Festival, the Southbank Centre and the Edinburgh Fringe.
He regularly reviews contemporary fiction and poetry for Radio 4’s Front Row, as well as a range of newspapers and magazines.
He worked on The Telegraph’s Culture Desk (as Senior Commissioning Editor) until 2024, and is currently Fellow Commoner in the Creative Arts at Trinity College, Cambridge.
He is also the editor of Edna St Vincent Millay: Poems & Satires (‘a revolutionary re-ordering’ – AE Stallings, The TLS).
